Decker Shado - Monster Island (2019)

Monster Island, the Asylum’s mockbuster for 2019, was released just in time with Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is about the mysterious island where a monstrous creature resides, and in a sense the creature is the island itself.


To cut costs, only a handful of human characters are used in the film. The (page) A-listers are kept on one set so that they can all shoot sequences at lunch. We must not forget that this film is a kaiju film and it is basically about how those things work. So maybe The Asylum won’t be too disappointed with it.
